Round up of my reading list

It's 3pm on Saturday and I'm still in bed. Why? You ask. Because I'm stupid sometimes and get completely carried away when it comes to KTV. Singing? Friends dancing? Private party style? It's all my favourite things combined. At least the suffering's worth it. So here I am catching up on some new additions to my regular roster of blogs, and I thought, why not share the goodness? Maybe one of you is in the exact same predicament as me, and you could do with some pretty pictures of soothing scenes while you hope desperately the overload of water intake will make the pain go away.

Jennifer Chong's beautiful blog popped up on my twitter feed one day (thanks to the lovely Rachel of Girl On the Ave) and I'm glad I clicked through to the actual site - it is filled with all things food, and very pretty pictures of it at that (as Jennifer is a designer and photographer by day). Jennifer recently attended the Kinfolk Dinner Series - an event that brings together a varied group of people with a common place that hopes to foster collaboration within the community - and shared the experience on her site. Lovely stuff.

 Roost: A simple life

Roost: A simple life

Roost Blog has been on the roster for some time now, but I don't think I've ever shared it. Authored by Caitlyn (more affectionately known as Coco), it's a story that follows her through her life beginning when she married her best friend on a rustic farm in Tennessee, to her domestic prowess in the home and in the kitchen. I mostly read it for the beautiful photos, but I also like her healthy take on familiar recipes like the roast chicken and tomato tart

 Sprouted Kitchen

Sprouted Kitchen

Sprouted Kitchen is brand new on the reading roster (today!) but I've already clicked through about 10 pages of deliciousness. The writer, Sara Forte, brings readers a tastier take on whole foods, and her husband Hugh shoots everything :) What got me really hooked was this post on Coffee. A Chemex Method, and the beautiful video that accompanied it. Don't think I've ever craved a simply brewed black coffee so much in my life!

 Wardrobeflux by Hosanna Swee

Wardrobeflux by Hosanna Swee

Wardrobeflux isn't actually a food blog, but Hosanna styles her food as beautifully as she styles herself, and I just couldn't not share her blog with all of you. She calls Singapore home, and I think she's still in school. You'd also be amazed to know she's only 21. So. Much. Talent. It's crazy.

And with that I'm going back to scrolling. Happy weekend friends!
